Biography:
Dr. Mark Scanlon is an Assistant Professor in the UCD School of Computer Science. He is a Fulbright Scholar in Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Investigation and is a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security in Purdue University, USA. His research interests include Network Forensics, Remote Evidence Acquisition, Data Deduplication, and Cloud Forensics and Security. To date, Dr. Scanlon has published over 35 peer-reviewed international journal and conference publications in the fields of Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity. Dr. Scanlon is an active member of the research community in these fields and is a keen keynote speaker, editor, reviewer and conference organiser across a range of key related journals and conferences.
